Chapter 2: The People's Rebellion
Outer Anafect Docks
Script typed up by: Chris Spiral
Script translated by: Commodore Zog (Aspinia Team)
Village Chief:
That ship is for the people of Anafect. If I loan it to you, it will be considered a very selfish act on my part.
Produn:
Do not think I am a bad person Village Chief, but my army has suffered great casualties. To avoid any further injuries, we must borrow the ship, so that we may return to our home.
Stella:
PRODUN! PLEASE HURRY!
Stella:
Departure preparation is in order, sir.
Produn:
Stella, make sure everyone is on board and prepared to leave. We must make the shallow passage quickly, hurry up. Is the Imperial army still on the move? Do you think they'll come later?
Stella:
The number of Imperial armies in the area is amazingly large. They are all killing our troops.
Uryudo:
After the whole time we waited, Produn's army has deprived us of the ship! What an unpleasant encounter. Medion, what will we do?
Syntesis:
With the Produn army leaving, we won't be able to get to Barrand!
Medion:
.......
Grantack:
Although it is very unfriendly to chase after someone already fleeing, it is necessary in this case. We must regain the ship by force.
Once major damage is dealt to Produn's men
Stella:
Produn, the departure plans for the ship are ready. We are asking that you return to the ship in a hurry.
Produn:
Yes... But I cannot abandon my troops. I can't run away now.
Stella:
Very well, I understand. However, if you do not leave right now, you are endangering the whole army. Please... return to the ship.
Produn:
Uh......
Produn Soldier:
The ship has left the dock! Without it, we can't return to the Republic!
Stella:
Stella, what... what are you doing?! Even you will be in danger if you leave now! Wait... huh? STELLA!!!
Troops from the ship take Produn aboard
Stella:
Please go now, leave quickly. I'll deal with this Imperial army here. I, Lieutenant Stella, of the Produn army, am hereby replacing General Produn for this situation!

.......
Grantack:
Very well Medion. You've killed all of the other troops. Do you want to help Stella?
Choice Options
If YES:
Grantack:
Are you sure you want to end the fight?
Choice Options
MARKER 1 If YES:
Grantack:
Attention All troops! Discontinue the attack on Stella immediately!
Stella:
You... You've stopped attacking me? Why? Victory is almost in your hands!
Syntesis:
Medion is not a cruel Price who enjoys spilling blood for absolutely no reason. He is a kind person, and would never do anything like that.
Stella:
Medion, you are the son of Emperor Domaric, are you not? He is known as the "Lord of Massacres," yet you do not follow in his footsteps?
Campbell:
We have no desire to kill a Republic army which is already leaving Imperial territory. All we are after is to find out who abducted Emperor Domaric.
Stella:
If that is what you say, that you want to save the Emperor, then I can assure you that we did not abduct him.
Grantack:
Saying this is very kind of you Stella, you have removed the blame from the Produn Army. Our next task is simply to go to Barrand.
Stella:
Barrand... You want to go to Barrand?
Syntesis:
The Emperor was kidnapped via ship. We must go to Barrand to find an armored battleship to chase the captors. The battleship of Barrand will certainly fit the task.
Stella:
I see. Is there anything I can do to help?
Grantack:
The ship which Produn embarked upon when you, Stella, replaced his position is tied down by a moor, right over there.
Produn:
I was thrown into the ship, and knocked unconscious. The ship was moving in closer here when I awoke. However, there wasn't anything I could do. When Stella left, I thought for sure that your army would succeed, Medion. Yet we all lived.
Stella:
General Produn, thanks to Price Medion's kindness, we are free to return to the Republic.
Produn:
As an army from the Republic, we confront all the Empire. We managed to avoid major battles until today. Medion, even though you are blood related to the Emperor, you do value the lives of others. The ship is docked by the pier, I must meet Stella now.
Stella:
Certainly good people, if betrayed or misunderstood are bound to react in a bad way. I must apologize, for removing you from battle, General Produn.
Syntesis:
General Produn and Stella really love each other.
Medion:
.......
Uyrudo:
It is possible that this... Is it so? I think we've stumbled upon a position with which we cannot interfere. The ship may still not be usable.
Grantack:
Remember this well, General Produn is not absorbed in protocol.
Stella:
That... I... that...
Campbell:
The general is sure to give a call of what we are to do now.
Stella:
Hearing the general, we must find food and supplies for the trip back.
Produn:
Untie the ship from the pier.
Boat starts to leave
Syntesis:
I don't think the main Imperial armies will be too pleased with us. Well, at least Produn managed to leave safely and happily.
Stella:
Thank you, Medion, prince of good will!
Produn:
Although the ship is on loan from Anafect... I must return the favor to you someday Prince Medion. I swear, Medion, if trouble ever befalls you, I will be there to support you!
Stella:
Good bye! Thanks everyone!
Syntesis:
...And Stella has safely gotten away... with the person she loves.
Uryudo:
Stella and Produn wished to express their gratitude towards us. The Barrand ship... although lost... well, we'll have less trouble to run into later on. Perhaps we should get some sleep now, Prince Medion?
Medion:
........
Grantack:
The ship safely left the port... but can it still get to Barrand?
Campbell:
The ship had to get away from here... but are they going to Barrand too?
Syntesis:
These sort of events are impossible to predict. We are here watching the ship. Stella and company are leaving port. Now what do we do? We don't have a ship.
Uryudo:
I do not think we should head too far north. The Aspinian border bridge is up there.

MARKER 2: Stella is Killed:
Stella:
*Cough* Produn! Help...
Produn:
Stella! Oh Stella, why? Why?!
Stella:
I am gone... If you fall in battle... The Produn army will be lost...
Produn:
However, Stella if you die, then my future is lost.
Stella:
There's nothing you can do now. I will not survive...
Produn:
St.. St.. STELLA!
Syntesis:
General Produn loved Stella... She remained the victim. Yet all we could do was knock her down.
Uryudo:
She did not even resist until the last minute. She really could not have been that bad...
Grantack:
This is war, Syntesis. These sorts of things happen.
Produn:
Arrrrrggg!! DAMN YOU ALL! Stella also thoroughly served as a soldier. She did know this was war. Of course, fate can determine everything... Why Stella, WHY?
Syntesis:
General Produn, please calm down.
Produn:
It is you, Medion of the Empire who is responsible for all this. I will return to the Republic, where I will be waiting for you.
Uryudo:
The Medion army is waiting calmly.
Produn:
Eventually, you will come to Aspina. It is an obvious conclusion. The day and moment are yet unknown... but I will be waiting.
Medion:
.......
Campbell:
The suffering over Medion is also here now, as we fight against the Republic. It is a sad tragedy.
Grantack:
Things such as this happen everywhere... Even in the Empire.
Syntesis:
Unpleasant events like this can happen so easily... If a war is not resolved very early on, it is almost impossible to prevent this.
Uryudo:
Now we must continue to search for the Emperor, whose abduction started this whole war. We must get to Barrand, and it will be difficult.
Campbell:
There will only be a way to get there using a bridge at the Barrand border, near General Rogan's territory.
Medion:
.......
Grantack:
Medion, we must move on. If we procrastinate, the chances of something like this happening again will increase.

MAIN TEXT
Voice:
I might be able to help you.
Voice of Village Chief:
Welcome, Medion, Prince of the Destonian Empire. I am the Village Chief. This is my daughter.
Medion:
.......
Daughter:
Well! The Republic army took our ship! I believe you may owe an apology to my father!
Village Chief:
The upper class seems to be helping the rest of the people for the first time. Because events like these do not happen often, I would like to help. We know the story that you and your army wanted to go to Barrand. Yet now you can't because the only ship strong enough to safely navigate the canal is gone. The north border bridge is under heavy guard as well.
Daughter:
Even with the guarded bridge in the north, there is still a way for you to get your troops there, Medion.
Grantack:
How is that? There are no other roads to Barrand other than the border bridge.
Village Chief:
Ah! We of Anafect have a little secret! It is not publicly discussed, and I was not planning on revealing it either.
Medion:
........
Campbell:
The Medion army promises to defend this secret. With our trust, would you please tell us of it?
Daughter:
Very good... We trust you. Now, head north of Anafect. There is a large rock next to the river. Search it and...
Uryudo:
And?
Village Chief:
An entrance to a cave will appear. It leads under the river, over to Barrand.
Grantack:
We welcome your help. However, time is of the essence, Medion.
Medion:
.......
Village Chief:
Medion, being able to meet people like you raises the courage of our people.
Daughter:
Prince Medion, we of Anafect thank you very much. It is a great honor to meet those of the ruling class of Destonia.
Campbell:
To many of the ruling class in the Empire, the people mean nothing. But we of the Medion army consider the people to be allies.
Medion:
.......
Uryudo:
We are certainly glad of the Village Chief's word. I would like to be able to use my magic to help.
Syntesis:
Assisting the people is only part of one's loyalty. The Medion army, is impartial, and therefore helps anyone in need, Uryudo.
Grantack:
Yes. However, it is getting dark. We should try to get to the cave before nightfall.
