More Shining Soul News!

More information about Shining Soul has been made available! There are some screenshots at Famitsu.com, click here to see them, an article at IGN.com, the original article at the German GameFront Site, a bit at GameSpot and some discussions at the IGN.com boards here and here.
Looks like it's going to be a busy time for me now trying to keep on top of all of this!

The game itself is going to follow the Shining storyline apparently, but be more in the style of Phantasy Star Online, allowing up to 4 people to adventure together and exchange items etc. There are said to be 4 character classes: warrior, archer, berserker and magician, and the screenshots look to me like a cross between PSO, Gauntlet Legends and Shining Wisdom. Sega are due to unveil more info and a video of the game at the Tokyo Game Show which takes place this weekend. Famitsu magazine is due to have an article in it's 26th October issue.

The game doesn't look as Shining Force-ish as it might, but it's not finished yet of course, and if nothing else it's a step in the right direction. Looks like maybe the next release will be on GameCube, as I predicted - woohoo!

The Campaign will continue - after all, we all know Sega's track history when it comes to translating Shining games, ne? So, it's still important we let them know the rest of the world wants to play Shining Soul!

If I find out more news, I'll post it here ASAP!
