MALORIE CASTLE 1F - HALLWAY
Man Near the Entrance:
When Lord Algernon was abducted, Lady Margaret became quite despondent. It was hard for me to see her like that.
Man Near the Waiting Room:
When Lord Algernon was kidnapped, Malorie castle was under very strict security. How did Braff sneak in through such tight security?
MALORIE CASTLE 1F - LIBRARY
Scholar Near Bookshelf:
If the Imperial army takes Aspia, and secures the entrance to Aspia castle, no force will be able to penetrate it. Perhaps if they become overconfident, you will find some weak point they have overlooked.
Scholar Facing Window:
Did you know that there are two ways to enter Aspia castle?
If NO
Scholar Facing Window:
The first way is over the stone bridge in front. The second is to enter the catacombs from the statues outside of the castle. Once in the catacombs, you should be able to head south-east, and inside Aspia castle.
If YES
Scholar Facing Window:
By inserting the black crystal into the giant stone statue, a path to the catacombs will be opened. Once in the ruins, one path will take you to the castle walls, and the other path leads to the moat.
Bookshelf 1:
Report on Aspian Ruins! There seem to be hidden paths underneath the statues north of Aspia, leading to the catacombs.
Bookshelf 2:
Report on Aspian Ruins! A path by a great statue leads down! In the statue there is an indentation into which a gem might fit.
Bookshelf 3:
A cursed path into Aspia! The deeper we go, the stronger the monsters. It may have been used to train soldiers.
Bookshelf 4:
Be cautious when releasing water! If the valve is fully opened, the power is beyond your imagination!
MALORIE CASTLE 1F - EAST BARRACKS
Soldier Near Table:
Wilmer betrayed Lord Tristus when he tried to send his army into Aspia despite the threats against his son. Since I knew that was the reason... I went along with the plan, but I was against trapping Synbios' army.
Soldier Near Window:
To save Lord Algernon's life, Synbios'must fight alone. In any other circumstances, the Malorie army would fight by your side against the Imperial army. I'm filled with... sadness over this predicament.
Soldier in Bedroom:
I heard that the city of Aspia is occupied. I can't believe it! Is the whole country of Aspinia doomed?
MALORIE CASTLE 1F - WEST BARRACKS
Soldier Near Painting:
We Malorie soldiers regret the news about vice commander Wilmer. I can't believe he would betray Lord Tristus!
Soldier Near Window:
It is unbearable for us to leave Lord Tristus locked up... We must, however, ask him to bear it a bit longer since the life of his son Algernon is at stake.
Soldier Near Doors:
Wilmer has been, for all practical purposes, the commander of the Malorie army. He was known as an excellent strategist. Few have been able to stand against him. Synbios' army must be quite formidable!
MALORIE CASTLE 1F - DINING ROOM
Moving Female Servant:
Synbios' army is heading to Aspia alone, despite the Empire siege. It sounds like suicide to me.
Standing Female Servant:
Braff was always so courteous... I couldn't believe it when he abducted Lord Algernon.
MALORIE CASTLE 1F - ROOM TO PRISON ENTRANCE
Left Soldier:
The birdman Fynnding is locked up right now. We cannot release him because he is very close to Lord Tristus. If he flies to see the lord, and tells him about the situation, it would nullify the efforts of Lord Synbios.
Right Soldier:
Family members of Fynnding live in the town of Malorie. I'm sure they are very worried about him. All this is done to protect the life of Prince Algernon. They simply must be patient a little longer.
MALORIE CASTLE B1 - PRISON
Fynnding:
Lord Synbios... I'm glad to see you made it here in one piece... I must tell you some very important information. The vice commander of the Malorie army, Wilmer, has betrayed Lord Tristus...
MALORIE CASTLE 2F - HALLWAY
Soldier:
I'm sure Lord Synbios would love to see his sister, Lady Margaret. If they should meet, however... Lord Tristus is bound to learn the truth. The meeting should take place after the liberation of Aspia.
Soldier Blocking Tristus' Room:
Lord Tristus and Lady Margaret do not know that Wilmer has been defeated. They are sitting quietly in their room.
MALORIE CASTLE 2F - THRONE ROOM
Left Female Servant:
With Aspia taken over by the Empire, isn't Malorie going to be next? We have kept the information within the castle, so the townspeople don't know about the invasion. If they did, it would cause quite a panic.
Right Female Servant:
I wonder if I can just go back to my room... Without anyone to give me orders, I feel silly standing here.
Gentleman Near Chairs:
Lord Tristus and Lady Margaret... This room feels quite empty without the two of them. Once Braff, who took control of this castle, is defeated, they will be able to return to this room.
Gentleman Near Shelf:
How long must I wait until Lord Tristus can come back into this room? Everything must be clean until then.
MALORIE CASTLE ROOF
Left Soldier:
It has disappeared now, but when we were watching Aspia castle, we noticed a giant figure just beyond the castle... I thought it was my imagination, so I asked my partner what he saw. He saw the same thing...
Right Soldier:
I don't know what it was, but it definitely looked human. How could such a giant person exist?! He looked at us with glowing red eyes!
MALORIE VILLAGE
Southwest Soldier:
This entrance to Malorie will be kept the same as before Wilmer was defeated. If we do anything suspicious, so soon after all the ruckus in the garden, Lord Tristus might realize the truth.
Southeast Soldier:
Though the Malorie army traps you here, you are concerned about poor Lord Algernon. I thank you for your kindness... For now, we cannot help you, but know I shall at least pray forsafe journey ahead.
Northwest Soldier:
The day Lord Algernon was kidnapped... There was nothing unusual at all. We had no idea what was happening... Because we didn't discover the abduction, Wilmer ended up dead... That shall haunt me forever...
Northeast Soldier:
Our mission was to block Lord Synbios, and delay him while the Imperial army took Aspia... If the plan had gone through, Malorie would forever be thought of as a traitor to the Republic.
HEADQUARTERS
Palsis:
Braff wouldn't set these traps just to avenge his father. I think he may have some hidden motive.
Dantares:
Wilmer knew about Lord Tristus' temper, so he locked him up to keep him from leaving with his army. So he was loyal after all...
Masqurin:
We've circled the north-eastern part of the Republic... Can that be right? Someone must be purposely leading us in circles.
Grace:
Braff's scheme was to delay us so the Imperial armies could advance. I can't believe we lost so much time.
Hayward:
The internal situation of the Republic is far too complicated. But if I think about it, these enemies we fight must be motivated by their own sense of justice.
Obright:
I can't believe Braff would use such unfair tactics... His father, General Fafhard, is so highly respected.
Irene:
Wilmer was good man. Malorie sad in loss. So angry at Braff, Irene never forgive!
Cybel:
Now we know Braff is collaborating with the Empire to take control of Aspia. What a dirty traitorous dog!
Eldar:
Was the Imperial invasion planned by the entire Destonia Empire, or just some rogue faction?
Kahn:
I'm sensing some evil presence... There is something terrible in Aspia. Can we be victorious over this evil?
Noon:
Battle and victory... that does sound good. If we lose, though, it will be the end of the Republic.
Justin:
If we consider Wilmer's intentions, we must press ahead on our own and leave Lord Tristus locked up.
Horst:
Wilmer's loyalty is commendable, but his actions may very well lead to the downfall of Aspia.
Penn:
CHIRP, CHIRP, CHIRP? (Is he a good guy or a bad guy?) (...That could be what he said...)
Ratchet:
I'm impressed we've fought this far without losing anyone. Hopefully our luck will hold...
Frank:
GRRRRR..... I can feel it.... The spirit which craves our blood is close by... There is intense evil...
Hagane:
We fight without the Malorie army now. What happens if our army is defeated? That will be the end of the Republic.
Murasame:
We've been delayed a bit... I'm glad it's not too late. Braff is formidable, keep your guard.
WHEN TRYING TO LEAVE MALORIE CASTLE
Palsis:
Once we step out that gate, a showdown with Braff awaits us. Are the preparations complete, Synbios?
If NO
Palsis:
If that is so, let us head for Aspia when we're ready, Synbios. We must crush the traitor Braff and his army!
If YES
Palsis:
If that is so, let us head for Aspia. We must crush the traitor Braff and his army!
