if the Ship's Key was taken from Fiale in Scenario 1
Uryudo:
Hey! Zero has returned...and General Rogan is with him!
Syntesis:
Zero must've been able to get the ship's key back from Fiale!
Rogan:
I'm very relieved...Zero was able to leave Synbios' force and reach me before I sank into the Destonian Sea.
Zero:
Just before we came here, Honesty arrived and told us about the Emperor's command to her. She had to take some kind of message with her. She told the General that it was top secret. Before the Executor sank...I noticed Honesty and 2 men head into the captain's quarters to meet with you. What was that about, General?
Rogan:
......
Zero:
I heard you talking on the Executor, but can you tell me what it was about? Sounded interesting!
Rogan:
Don't you think it might be better to tell Prince Medion about the sad news of the late Duke Conrad?
Zero:
Oh...yes...though it grieves me...I have to report that Duke Conrad has passed away.
His end came about when High Priest Fiale and the Bulzome Sect invaded his Republican home...I deeply regret his passing.
Grantack:
Duke Conrad was a very popular man...now he's dead...Lord Synbios must be discouraged, and the people of the Republic would feel the loss just as badly.
Campbell:
With the late Duke Conrad being targeted in his own home, are the problems around the continent appearing in the Republic as well...?
Zero:
Along with General Edmund, we've now lost two pillars of the nation...and General Braff has raised a revolt as well. He intends to destroy Lord Synbios and his army.
Domaric:
Perhaps we are beginning to gain some unforeseen allies, then...?
Domaric and Fiderit leave Saraband
Domaric:
I know the Republic lords round these parts...they're still bitter inside about what happened last time I was here. People could well be after us...I've lead an invasion force into these lands before, they probably still talk about it around here! Fiderit...are all the preparations in order?
Fiderit:
The remnants of Arrawnt's army have been reorganised...we are now ready to march.
Domaric:
Before we start, Medion...General Rogan, I want you to join my personal bodyguard unit. You fought in my army before, and I need your services again.
Rogan:
As you wish, my Emperor...I will join your group for the battles ahead, alongside the Prince's followers.
Fiderit:
Prince Medion, let's be on our way!
Uryudo:
Then, this is it...the Emperor really intends to march towards Aspia, Prince Medion.
Syntesis:
One thing we all know about the Emperor...he's been eager to absorb the Republic back into the Empire for over 20 years now.
Domaric:
Come on! Let's go, Medion!
Campbell:
The best way is always to move forward...we must pass through the western mountain range. Be sure not to leave the Emperor's group stranded, keep close to them.
if Garosh lived in Scenario 1
Garosh:
To the north lies Headland territory. I can see that we'll be heading towards Airo Village. This looks like a good, open field, but the areas of quicksand will slow us down.
I will use my skills to stop the Headland army from defeating us, even though my brother Jade is the leader of that army. My brother and I are on opposing sides in this matter...in warfare, fate can often be cruel...
Uryudo:
You would agree to strike out against your brother, maybe even kill him...why do you still wish to travel with us?
Garosh:
When it comes to this matter, I have already made up my mind. I will travel with you because I feel it is for the right reasons. I will not hesitate in battle...I will do what I need to survive, so do not worry...now, let's go.
Grantack:
We must protect the Emperor from any harm on our travels. Make sure you defend him from any attack!
after the battle
if Garosh lived in Scenario 1
Jade:
I am defeated, my brother...you fought well, Prince Medion...
Garosh:
Jade...my dear brother...
Jade:
Do not grieve for me...but you must hear the warning I give you...
Garosh:
A warning...what is it?
Jade:
Listen carefully to what I have to say, Garosh...if you are heading for the cavern entrance, I have to let you know about something. The main Headland army is waiting for you there... The Headland and Swampland armies have joined together and lie in the cave ahead...they have set this trap for you...I had to let you know.
Ha, ha...we were divided in life, brother...but I ask you to end this war and bring peace back to the world...uhh...
Jade dies
Domaric:
Two brothers on opposite sides, separated by this war...such tragedies can often happen in warfare.
Fiderit:
Without cooperation, such resistance can only be expected...
this opposition has led to a tragic situation. But we must be moving on...
Domaric:
Cracks are developing throughout this country...this seems an opportune time to quickly draw the Republic back into the Empire.
Campbell:
I cannot fault the Emperor's words. The founders of the Republic made a stand for equality...but that original basis seems to have been increasingly forgotten in these struggles...
Grantack:
The current poverty in the Republic is clearly testing this ideal...everything seems under a great deal of strain.
Garosh:
I must let others know about Jade...before we face this severe challenge in the cave, let's rest up in Airo Village first. My hometown will provide excellent refreshment!
